Art Center Garage Sale

Today, the Art Service Club and National Art Honor Society worked together to manage Mepham's first ever Art Center Garage Sale. The school's artists were delighted to find used sketchbooks, art supply boxes, oil pastels, and several other valuable materials for as little as $.50-$2.00. The garage sale proved an effective way to clean up clutter in the Art Center, recycle old materials and provide many students with vital art supplies while raising money for local families in need through the Nurses Fund. Through the efforts of each club's members, Mepham's dedicated artists, and Ms. Kane and Mrs. Grana, the garage sale was a great success raising more than $70!!

NAHS 2010 Officers

At the first meeting of the Art Honor Society, officers were chosen and thoughts about this year’s upcoming events began formulating. For the 2009-2010 school year, the honor society’s officers are made up of a dedicated group of seniors including Allison Balogh as president, Emily Fox as Vice-President, Nick DiChara as secretary, Anita Gallant as treasurer, Rachel Waldmann as publicity photographer, and Brittany Martorella as publicity journalist. With these leaders and the talents of our Art Honor Society, this will surely be a rewarding year!
